265 flood buckets were delivered from North Buffalo Presbyterian and surrounding areas in Washington County, Pennsylvania. These will be going to Western North Carolina
Shower Houses
The Presbyterian Disaster Association (PDA) has been established to provide assistance to areas of the country impacted by disasters. The PDA is a national effort, with a collection and distribution points nationwide including a new warehouse located in Locust, NC at Locust Presbyterian Church. One part of this effort, is the ability to deploy shower houses and shower trailers to areas effected by these disasters for long-term use by residents and volunteers in the area. The addition of a new shower house that is ready and available to deploy immediately is truly an asset for the PDA and it's efforts to assist others.
